Container Prices increase by 22%
This increase
is in response to a global situation impacting raw materials, energy and
transportation for all products combined with significant shortages for both
new and reconditioned base raw materials.
Be assured that
Myers Container and Container Management Services are working hard to
control our costs and with your help we will continue keep these
unprecedented increases to a minimum.
Current
lead-times are being stretched out up to several weeks more than normal so
please allow additional time when placing orders.
If you find
yourself in a difficult situation we may have the ability to complete your
request on overtime and/or with higher steel costs from a Service Center.
An Expediting Fee of a minimum $300, plus additional material costs and/or
freight would need to be charged.
Also please
note that due to the increased demand for deliveries and the high cost of
transportation we must adhere to allowing 1-1/2 hours of free
unloading/loading time, after the free time a Demurrage Charge of $50 per ½
hour will need to be enforced.
