| Myers Container, LLC
The history of Myers Container extends back to
George Myers who started as a reconditioner of barrels
in 1917 as Myers Barrels. The company evolved into Myers Drum and was eventually
sold by Gib Myers to Kaiser Steel in 1968.
Myers Container Corporation was formed in 1984 when it was acquired by
the existing management team (Cutt, Wood, Holmes & Stavig) from Kaiser Steel.
On October 11, 2007 Myers Container was
acquired by the Stavig family and manufactures new steel drums at two
facilities in Oregon and California under the name of Myers Container LLC.
